You're 1.Easy.
By name, not me, and I've flown about 8 different flavors of PA-28s. Sure, I can tell a taper wing from a hershey from a distance, but I can't keep track of which is named what. They fly about the same... the 235 more like a Suburban than the rest, the Arrow has the gear, a couple have the mechanical fuel injection which is fun to start hot, some have the constant pitch prop that is nice, the 180s are great for climbing out of shorter fields, the tapers float more if you're a bit fast...hershey doesn't float all that much...and I can't keep track of the names. Which does seem to annoy my CFI from time to time, especially if I announce a Warrior or Dakota as a Cherokee.Out of 10 pilots chosen at random, how many could tell the difference at 50 feet? 5 feet?
