I have done 4 check rides (private ASEL, instrument airplane, commercial ASEL, and commercial AMEL). It was only during the debrief of the fourth one that I learned you can request WINGS credit for your check rides. It's not easy to find the button for it on the FAA Safety website, but it could be worthwhile in some way.

I know a guy who uses his logbook as an autograph book. He has people like Bob Hoover, etc... who have signed his logbook.
