Cheapest ramp fee greater New York area?
Hi. I'm flying in to New York next week for some work. I'll be there for 8 days and wondered where the cheapest tie down/overnight parking might be? Most of the airports I've managed to research online have had eye-watering prices, like over $100/night...![Eek! ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
![Yikes :yikes: :yikes:](/community/styles/poa/poa_smilies/yikes.gif)
Linden is close to Manhattan, but at $550 for the period it's still pretty hefty. For that kind of money I could go further out and spend it on a cab/rental car instead. I have more time than money. Long Island also a possibility if there are any suggestions there. Airplane is an Aerostar, so I do need about 3500ft of rwy to be comfortable.
As a sidenote viewing on Flighaware - the Avgas prices in the NY area are also no joke. Haven't found a single place below $6.50/Gal, so not gonna fill up there.
