I'd do it, and then scrap it as soon as it needed any maintenance, or my wife found out how much it costs to fuel the thing.

As a lowly C-172 renter, every now and then I daydream flipping through Controller.com listings. This morning came across N878L, a late-model fixed gear pressurized Lancair. Not "cheap" by any means, but seems quite capable compared to similarly priced certified options, unless I'm overlooking something (i.e. the cost of maintaining the pressurization system).
