Does Champion sell replacement resistors for their spark plugs? Or is their another source for the resistors other than removing good resistors from old plugs with good resistors.

I believe the replacement resistor is a Tempest spark plug but I doubt Champion sells them. :D

Don't fool with that resistor. Just taking a perfectly good resistor out and putting it back in will usually make it inoperative. The whole setup is haywire. If the plug fails the test, replace it.

Sometimes, when a plug fails the spark test, touching the end of the plug very lightly to a wire wheel that has slowed down some after the grinder is turned off will often get it working again. Don't know why. Maybe there's an oxide barrier there?

Champion plugs are proving to be crap. Go to Tempest, you won't go back.
