... what happened to Gleim? (Used to do their FIRC, for years) Has anyone ever done the FIRC on *both* Gleim and Flyers... and can recommend one over the other?

It’s been a lot of years since I’ve done either one, but Gleim basically presents the outline format of their books, where Flyers presents it in sentence and paragraph form.

I think I did Gleim the first time, then switched to AF since I don't think Gleim has a lifetime one anymore. I like most of Gleim's products, but the one-time purchase from AF was nice.

I did Gliem a number of times and liked their materials. Always have. But at some point, if your instructor currency is based only on FIRCs, it gets really repetitive. So, when American Flyers offered free for life, I moved there. Might as well spend less to be bored. And when Sportys began offering free, I tried it. Still not much new stuff, but the materials are good, and the optional videos from their courses help pass the time.
