Can anyone recommend a freelance CFI for my instrument rating in the KVNY Los Angeles area?

Thanks. Do you have his cell number? I tried emailing the American Aviation website but no reply & the numbers don't work.
 
Any further recommendations?
A couple CFII's I have spoken to can't start until the end of summer but I'm looking to start asap.
 
another not-so-helpful post from eman, but I flew with an instructor out of corsair aviation, so I guess he's not a freelancer, I dunno. I actually am not even sure he's a double I, but he was a real nice kid, very knowledgeable and easy going. I would at least recommend giving him a call. his name was joe, last name something like alcon or alcori, I can't read the handwriting on my invoice for when I flew with him to Catalina. sorry, that's the best I can do.
 
what do u mean by freelancer ? you have your own airplane ? the instructor has its own insurance?
