What would you pay to rent a 2007+ Cessna 182T with G1000 GFC700?

have you rented one before? If so, what did you pay?

how many hours where needed for check out?

I bought one new. Great plane.

Can't speak to the rental questions.

Hoping in the 200s per hour.

I've flown two rental 182Ts but it was so long ago to be irrelevant to your question. A 182T in 2004. A T182T NAVIII in 2012. Great airplanes.

I didn't need a checkout. The amount I would expect depends on your prior experience. Do you have 182 time? Do you have G1000 time? IFR or VFR use only?

Hmm, I fly one for free. :D

CAP has some

I too have rented some 182's, but ancient history and irrelevant....for the record, the most recent was a 182P about 21 years ago...and that was AFTER the big spike in rental pricing that seemed to happen around 2,000, and I could be off base but I want to say it was ballpark $130 to $140-ish...worth about $235 today if you believe google.
I think maybe two years prior I rented a 182 RG for that or less!
...whatever it was I felt like I was getting robbed back then...i was right after 172s jumped from $60/hr to around $100/hr.....so maybe $30 or $40 more than a C172.... $40 adjusts to about $84 today...so that checks to $200-$230 ish today.

There is a 182T near me that rents for $250/hr

if the pictures are correct, it looks like it might be a nice one so maybe worth a bit of a premium.....

As to the how many hours.....
I think a lot of that would depend on you and your logbook.

For reference, the flight school where I'm working on my PPL has a 2009 C172S with G1000 that is $180/hr wet.
