You need to determine which company produced the motor for Cessna and see if they can offer a parts breakdown. Unfortunately, not all of those companies exist anymore or have been bought out. So it may take a little detective work to find the info if still available. Or you can try to match the brushes with existing options from one of several brush mfg'rs.Looking for a parts breakdown and replacement brushes for the 12V C301002-0101 Cessna flap Motor.
I have a call into Textron, waiting for a call backYou need to determine which company produced the motor for Cessna and see if they can offer a parts breakdown. The vast majority of those type components are produced by 3rd party vendors vs Cessn/Textron. Look on the motor tag if its still legible for the mfg'r. If not look online for used motors with a close up of the tag. Then see if that vendor is still in business. Usually when there is not a parts breakdown in the IPC the item is not an inhouse built or provided part. However, there are some exceptions like alternators, starters, and other high wear or usage items.I have a call into Textron, waiting for a call back
Why not? While I prefer to buy straight from a brush mfg'r, the only hurdle is to find a willing A&P to perform the repair.Too bad you can't buy one from here:
