What is a typical thrust produced from a cessna 172p engine at 2500 rpm?

It doesn't scale in a linear manner; the larger the engine, the more efficient the engine. You could get near a ton of thrust on that 120 GPH.

And you'd have that airframe so far past red line so fast you wouldn't know what hit you as it came apart around you. No thanks, I'll stick with 180 hp up front. :D
