c172 main strut lifting tool for tire changes recommendations

need a new tool/device that will allow easy access to allow floor jack to lift wheel up for tire changes and brakes.

before I fabricate one...any recommendations for such a manufactured clamp that can be used on multiple cessna types? my c172k has the flat steel struts but see some are adjustable for other types as well

There is a device that slips on. It has a U- shape cross section and is

tapered to match strut taper. Works very well. Sometimes folks

don’t realize it’s still stuck on and taxi or fly with it!

Cessna & Citabria Floor Jack Pad P/N: 9953 | eBay

Cessna Floor Jack Pad / Cessna Plane & Citabria. This is a great way of lifting your wheel for maintenance etc. As the plane is lifted the Jack pad angle will adjust to the different position. Made in Cleveland Ohio.

The one made in Cleveland is near identical to the Cessna part we had, worked perfectly.
