This summer's construction project will start in June and last about 135 days raising the 28 end of the runway 5' to bring it into compliance with the FAA rules.
The first stage will be the 04/22 repositioning to be the primary runway until the 10/28 project is complete.
Then the runup area, and taxi way from the north ramp will change as the 1500' of 28 is raised.
Then the taxiway from the south ramp will be graded up to meet the new altitude of 28.
When planing a trip to Bayview Skagit reagonal please do the proper planing and get the Notams and listen to the ATIS, because there will be lots of trucks and equipment tearing up a lot of taxiways and ramp areas, the long taxi from 04 to the north ramp will be as it was last year.
