At this time, we have six (7) aircraft in the club

I wonder if they have six aircraft, (7) aircraft or they're really not sure.

On the fleet page they have eight(8) listed.

Remember, there is a difference between an Annual Inspection and the cost to fix the things found during the inspection. If you're paying $X thousands just for the inspection, you really need to find a new shop.

Thanks Murphey, I was aware of that. I have never had an annual inspection that did not find anything that needed repairing or replaced. I was simply pointing out what my overall cost of an annual has actually been. They have never been below $2,000.00 in San Diego.

Getting a firm bid to perform an annual inspection on an older airplane is akin to our government getting a bid to build anything. The bid and the actual cost have little or nothing in common.
