Hm. What scale would you have to use for the P-38 to get the nacelles bog enough to hold the engine? Presumably, you'd have to use a big enough one to take not just the engine, but a PSRU as well.Now that's just awesome. The two things I'd really like to build someday would be a B-17 replica and a P-38 Lightning replica. The P-38 I'd use a pair of Jag V12s for since I have those things littering my basement.

I think Oshkosh is the least likely place to draw a crowd - There's too much other stuff to look at! Heck, midget Mustangs are commonplace, what's so special about a midget B17? Now maybe a midget B17 escorted by midget Mustangs...
I'll take a glance at it, but then I'll go over and look at the real B-17's.
