    Hello,

I am buying a Experimental Amateur Build 'ultralight' (meets LSA standards) from South Africa. It is currently airworthy in SA.

I have done a fair amount of research of what it's going to take to get the airworthiness in the US. But, still have some confusion. 8130-6 to the Bilateral Agreement...it's just a lot to take in - and the right way to approach it.

Can I please get some help on what it will take to get this an airworthy E-AB LSA?

Edit: I've already seen and flown the plane.

    Thanks in advance!

FYI: Find you a local FAA DAR who handles the importation requirements for those types of aircraft and see what they say about it prior to spending any money.
