Birds acting strange

From a period starting around 4 weeks ago through 2 weeks ago did anybody else notice birds acting weird? In that two week period I hit 4 birds in the pickup and 2 in the airplane. This is just very odd, normally hitting a bird in the truck would happen maybe once in 3-4 year stretches.

I think this time of year many can be ‘young of the year’. They really haven’t leaned to get out of the way properly, on a road and such.
