BFG Stormscope backlight

I have a mid 1990's era BFG WX950 Stormscope. It works great - no issues.

However, I have it adjusted to 100% brightness, and the display is still very dim. The only way I can read it is to shine a flashlight on it.

Is this an "easy" fix or is this something that is going to require a rebuild / exchange?

I thought you had a WX-900 with this problem. Now it’s a WX-950?

Well I made a mistake the first thread - it is a 950. So does this mean you may have an answer?

Send it to L3 and get it fixed or buy a used unit to swap. The screen is defective.
