I have heard the Bell Jet Ranger was the air vehicle with the best safety record. I wonder............................?

In what context? It's been my understanding the Boeing Stearman A75 was the "safest" aircraft from a structural standpoint. However, on the rotorcraft side I would put a Hughes 500 (369) model above a Bell 206 from a survivebility standpoint.
