Location suggests an attempt to find the ILS 10R, & ?stall in the marine layer with failure of recovery? Temp 59, Dew pt 54.5....
If he got a split S his fate was sealed from 2600 (recovery would be possibe but you'd have to be "ACE"). Looking at the altitudes it could be worse- he could have been "VFR hunting" and was well below the 2600 for the IAF @ZEBED (the last 4 hits are all below 2000 msl).
A speculation admittedly: Tempered by the knowledge that publically available track data is not necessarily accurate, the hard pull-up on the last hit (12:36:54), from about 75 mph, would not be sustainable for controlled flight.....
RIP, all. Be careful out there. 5500 enroute suggests VFR @ Night, over water...Twins at less than 80 MPH are a handful...(I use 85 MPH for over the fence on these birds and there is NO Manuevering at that slow airspeed in a twin)....and VFR at night over water....with likely no horizon....
