Before I 'take one for the team', wondered if any of you use/used this product? its $90 per year inc all the 'advanced' features for which other EFBs charge extra. Any PIREPs?
 
Never even heard of it. Apparently they have a 30 day trial and EAA members get a discount.
 
I use it because it is/was free for CFIs. It's not bad. Similar to the others. Nothing particularly unique to it stands out in my mind, but it has been a while since I've actively used it. Main reason I wanted it is I have an Android phone and my Garmin Pilot subscription had lapsed.
 
I tried it for a year. Before I started using foreflight again, it seemed to me at the time like a version of foreflight made for android. Worth a shot.
 
I have just downloaded it and like it so far. I’ll have a couple of flights with it this week. I was able to verify it is free for CFIs and I agree, it looks and behaves very much like FF, at a significantly reduced price.
 
I flew with the Aviator Assistant EFB this morning, and I am very pleased. On Saturday, while I was setting it up, I noticed there were W&B for many airplanes, but no customizable ones. There was nothing remotely close to my RV8A. I went to the "user support” tab and sent a request for a generic W&B that can be customized. Within an hour (on a Saturday afternoon), I had a reply that they couldn’t make a customizable W&B, but if I provided the basics for my RV8A, he would create a W&B for me. Sure enough, I got an email from him this morning saying it was done. Works perfectly.

I like the product and I like the support!

thanks! With that kind of support, I've decided to download it today. It's the same reason I went with Myflightbook - great having instant support. Thanks for everyone's input.
 
Dunno. I sent them a message through the website Sunday. Automated response, which was expected on a weekend, but no follow-up since.
 
I had a question when I tried it out a couple years back and they answered and fixed right away.

I am not seeing free for CFIs at this time and it is not compatible with much hardware.

Send E-Mail with a copy of your certificate to: [email protected]

The website has links to the App Store and Google Play to download it but I didn't delve into the actual hardware requirements.
