This Winslow life raft is in like new condition and was bought new directly from the manufacture for $9900. It was brought on three trips to the Cayman Islands aboard a PC-12 before the aircraft was sold and has been in an A/C climate ever since. This is a 2015 model, so the only difference between the 2017 model is the addition of a rescue laser flare. It does have a triple frequency survival ELT installed to pin point location if ever deployed. The inspection needs to be completed hence the selling price, and the manufacture will do it for $2000, while other inspection companies will do it for less. No offense to NSN, wants his money out and I don't blame him. However, for a company to charge $2000 to prove that a $10,000 unused lifesaving product they sold you works the way it is suppose to is appalling. IMHO.
