August ATL POA meetup at GMU

AFAIK, I am still going.

Barring something popping up last minute, I plan on being there.

Not IFR current so weather depending I can make it. Great food at GMU!

Gonna call the restaurant today and give them a heads up for our group...right now I count 6 yes and 1 maybe...just going to tell them expect 6-10 people in case we get a couple more between now and Saturday

I'm trying to get Brian to come up in the Commanche since he would have an empty seat or two if needed.

Do we have a target time?

Hi everyone - new member here. I'm going to try to make it over from KFTY. Aiming to arrive around 1130 and head out in time to be back by 330 or so.

I've got a family emergency so now I'm back to 50/50 on attending.:(

Well, it looks like something has come up, so I won't be able to make it this go-around. :(

Jason - welcome!

As always it depends on my daughter's soccer schedule. So far so good.

Doesn't look like I'm gonna make it. Family emergency.:(

Nah, still an emergency but doesn't require my presence tomorrow.

Looks like it will be a fine day for flying. See you all there.

I'm in. No soccer this weekend. If someone needs a ride I have a spare seat. Leaving from LZU.

Still have that ride available. Call me at 770-853-4565 if interested. I'll be leaving LZU about 11.

I just looked up the restaurant. Is this the "Runway Cafe" or is there another restaurant on field that I'm not seeing?

Hope everyone had good flight home. Nice meeting you all.:)

I enjoyed it. I multitasked. Brought a CFI along and did my flight review.
