noun: misogyny
dislike of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against women

How is suggesting that some male instructors might have overlooked her obvious deficiencies as a pilot due to her being attractive consistent with the definition of Mysogyny? If they were being mysogynistic, they would have told her she is a crappy pilot because she is a woman vs enabling her to be a crappy pilot by not giving her direct and honest feedback
PS - definition pulled from the Oxford DIctonary
You're acting as though her sex being a contributing factor was a mere fleeting possibility, rather than the absolute assumption made by some posters. And yes, some of those posters have assumed that women are crappy pilots just because they're women. Whether it's the assumption of swapping sex (or the suggestion of sex) for endorsements or assuming that DEI is at play when a woman is in the pilot's seat, it's a pattern with some.

I wasn't making any assumptions about her sex. She is clearly a crappy pilot. I would say the same thing if all facts were the same and it was a male pilot.
What is pretty obvious was her male instructors were enabling her. Doing radio calls, etc. After 190 hours, someone should have said "you suck at this". I did see males enabling pretty females in the workplace for years when I was working. Perhaps it was the soft bigotry of low expectations, but it was blatant. Is that mysogynistic? Did she "turn up the heat" to get some of her male instructors to pass her through? No idea but the outcome was the same.

What the hell, we're over the falls already. I'm not a misogynist. Haven't been since the 60s when pubic hair came in. I don't hate women, and I don't hate what women do in society. So, when I look at attractive women, who clearly and with no desire to hide it uses her looks to advance the position in life, I say good for her, and I also get to judge that the advance she gets by her make up, hair, nails, smile, coquettish laugh, augmented body parts(I really have no idea with TNflygirl) without reservation about how it reflects on me.

I'm not a good looking guy any anyone's metrics, but I've had hot/pretty women come-on to me for various reasons. Guess what? I LET THEM! I'm not above using what I have to advance my own interests and if that results in some gain for me, horizontal or otherwise, we'll call it a fair trade.

I think she used her 'feminine wiles' to gain an advantage in social media circles. OK, no prob, again it doesn't bother me any. If it affected her evaluation of handling an airplane, she lived by the sword an died by the sword. Sadly, in this case she took an innocent with her. Helen of Troy had the face that launched a thousand ships, and brought war and killing to a generation. Kardashian, Hepburn, Liz Taylor, Garbo, all the way back to Helen and before. Cleopatra ruled a major empire due in significant part to her extreme beauty, and her ability to make men bend to her will.

Tnflygirl is nothing new, nothing that hasn't been done for literally thousands of years. This micro-aggression wailing, hand-wringing, pearl-clutching about calling a spade a ****ing shovel is boring, and meritless. I like hot/pretty women. At least I can be honest about it.
