Anyone thinking of attending the air show in Anchorage, Arctic Thunder? The wife and I have been kicking the idea around lately. If we get good weather we thought about flying up from Juneau and take a short vacation 4 to 5 days.
It will take a day to fly there and a day to get home. Otherwise it's Alaska Airlines. Love the Aviation Museum got to visit it again. If we get up there will most likely rent an RV and stay in that. Costs about the same as a motel and you have freedom to cook what you want and relax.
