Hello! I am new on here and wondering if those on here know of upcoming fly-ins in Arizona as I would love to go to some this year!

Would also be interested in any airport type event to go to in Arizona.
 
Prescott Airfest is October 3rd, which I enjoyed.

Sedona has a fly in October 10th, but I think this one got rained out last year and I haven't been. If you're new, Sedona is often very challenging to land at in the Summer. It's occasionally somewhat challenging to land at in the winter. Do, please, talk on frequency if you go.

Wickenburg has a decent car show / fly in sometime in January. I haven't heard anything yet.

Buckeye in Feb is a good time. I think flying in on Saturday runs the risk of getting TFR'd and stuck there overnight, and schedule-wise I can only make it work on Sunday. Still worth it.

The Cactus fly-in at CGZ was a snooze for me.
 
We used to have a sizable group from Arizona that has dwindled over the years. I still fly out of Tucson. Just adding to the thread so we can keep track of each other again
 
Sedona has Wings and Wheels on Oct 10th this year, which is more of a show-and-tell for aircraft and classic cars with vendors and food trucks. This year we also had a fly-in with multiple Wings seminars, which was pretty cool. I'm sure it will get scheduled again for next year.

Now that it is starting to cool off (barely), it is time to fly again. I didn't fly at all this summer. Too damned hot, and humid this year with the monsoons!

I’ve flown in to Buckeye twice and am going again next year (from TX). I really like it. I usually fly in a day before and return home a day or two after, since my son lives in Phoenix, and i like to spend some extra time with him.
