I have a 1979 Archer. I had an Insight G1 installed. My #3 cylinder CHT is 50+ degrees hotter than the others in climb causing me to bring the power back to 2400 RPM and climb @ 95 kts. This will get the CHT below 400 in #3. I really don't get much of a climb rate especially since I relocated to Arizona with the high density altitudes. Is there any known reason why this cylinder would be hotter than the others? I ask because without the G1 installed I would be using full power and 95kts for climb. Also, is there any recommendations on leaning. I read the Lycoming material and the G1 manual but it really does not give any specifics. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, John Reilly
