Way back before I took a break from flying, the AOPA Airport Directory has a radius search function.

I could put in my home drone and a radius, say 100NM. I’d them get a list of every airport within that radius.

I could go through and visually pick an airport more than 50nm to log some XC and scratch names off the list.

Other than drawing the 50nm circle on my sectional, like I did in training, is there any similar approach to finding these airports?

It will not draw a circle on a map but it will generate a list for you of airports within a certain radius of the airport you select.
Step 1. Put in your airport's identifier.
Step 2. Select type of fields you want listed.
Step 3. Select the distance that you want to search.

Yes! Sort of a punch list of destinations until I have more time /flexibility to freely pursue the passion.

I’ll be locked into a few hours every other week or so.
