Not me. I'm my own mechanic and I know how little I have to spend on it.

Well, Mari and Danos do actually fly jets... ;)

One of the great joys of being single is you can spend or be anything you want. This is why my airplane is a true ramp queen, prettiest one in the lineup. No static from anyone about what I spend my money on.

Starting flying lessons at 61 would have been out of the question for just about every married guy, and probably most married women.

I had an extra day off, nothing to do, then it hit me, go take an airplane ride. I started lessons, then decided to buy my own airplane, didn't have to ask anyone, I just did it.

Every now and then I will get static from the one lady that hangs with me, but then, I don't really care. :stirpot:

It's a good life. :D

"Just about". 48 when I started lessons, passed the PP checkride 2 days after turning 49. 59 when I passed my IR ride.

And I like those pictures.

With some of the recent proposals for user's fees, some in the government think we fit the two photographs in the first column:rolleyes2:

Well, I'm not sure how much they think that but that's the line they're selling.
