I have a client with an airplane with a G3000 and GFC700 autopilot. He has asked me this question, and I'm pretty sure, but not 100% sure, of the answer.

On the Deer Valley ODP (DEERVALLEY ONE DEPARTURE), if he loads it into his flight plan and engages the autopilot in FMS/NAV mode shortly after takeoff, will it fly the complete thing, INCLUDING turning left upon reaching 4000 and proceeding direct to the VOR?

Unfortunately, we don't have anything similar around here to just try it and see.

Russ,

I have a G-5000/GFC700 trainer. I'll set it up for 25L and try it this evening.

Perfect, I appreciate the help! Have one for me too.
Works as advertised. When, ground-based ODPs are charted they always seem to be in the database. Of, course, RNAV ODPs are always charted, as you know.

As I stated previously, ground navaid-based ODPs aren't in the RNAV database unless they are charted. The departure order requires "complex" ODPs to be charted, but this bar is seldom met.

Here is a good example of one that should have been charted:
