Any experience with Dr. Gregory Pinnell out of Michigan?

Like any other physical examination? Poking, prodding, look at this chart, pee into that cup (sorry, no extra points for distance and accuracy), writing on forms, all followed by a slight reduction of your financial liquidity.

Or was there a more specific item you were wanting to know about? Such as how he can help with a particular medical history?

I used him before I went Basic Med. He was fair and honest with me.
Nice guy, was a space program doctor. Flies a Cherokee 6.
He is definitely the guy to go to if you have need of a Special Issuance.
Pretty high up in the FAA Med ranks - my SI medicals were issued by him, not OKC!

I've been going to him for my last 2. Seems like a good guy. Don't get him talking about flying if your in a hurry! You might be there for a while.. All around, he seems to be a good one.

Find someone else if it involves HIMS or an SI. He does not advocate for the airman and will continue to ask for more $$ to continue your case. Regular medical I’m sure it fine.
