I might be flying in for a dog trip. Wondering if anyone would be around and interested in getting breakfast.

I'll be here...where you flying in to?

I'd love to meet up.
And breakfast's my favorite meal

Ted, not sure where you're flying in to but next Saturday is EAA690 pancake breakfast at KLZU. Served from 8:00 am til 10:30 am. If you can make it there, breakfast is on me.

Right now, I'm in, subject to the whims of my dispatchers. :)

Randy, are helo pilots allowed? I fly at LZU (I'm a student at Blue Ridge Helicopters).

Ted, let us know where you're going, I'm grounded right now but might be able to bum a ride somehow.

I'll be home next weekend as well, let me know where you are going to land. I'm at FTY and we have a Cracker Barrel a couple miles from the airport, right across the interstate from my dealership.:D

At the moment I'm thinking about flying into PDK, probably Epps since they have the cheapest fuel. Maybe an 8 AM arrival, allow 2 hours for breakfast/catching up, then get the dogs and fly north. It's only 330 nm from Cincinnati to Atlanta and not even 1400 nm total for the day.

So, pickup in Atlanta, dropoff where?

Of course they are! We had Sonny Perdue joins us for breakfast one Saturday after he had soloed at Blue Ridge.

Ithaca, NY. Then back home.

Turns out a change - I'll need to be picking up dogs around 9. So that gives a shorter window for breakfast. I don't know if that changes anyone's interest or not.

I live right by PDK...plenty of places to grab a bite right in the area. Also, the SS fuel is a good bit cheaper than Epps.

Yeah, but that doesn't help pay my salary. :)

Haha fair enough - the school I rent from uses epps for everything and honestly I couldn't recommend an FBO more highly.

Other thing is that I'll be in a hurry. When in a hurry, full service is faster.

They are good folks. Best job I've ever had.

I met Pat Epps a long time ago, probably late 80's or so, very nice guy and they seem to do a great job. We fly into Athens a lot, Ben Epps Field, named after Pat's father, lot of aviation history with the Epps family.:D
