Installing two BK-197 Comms in a 14VDC Cessna 172 panel. I think I'll ask the installer to run all new cabeling to the antennas... Should I replace the antennas too? Goal is radios that work and get out there in traffic and some wide open mountain areas that we fly... and don't wanna do a half way installation.
Best antenna? Replace antennas? spec for cable?
Coaching would be much appreciated.
