I don't think the weather was all that great at the time. He may of had a 'window' of some sorts, but overall, rain, clouds, turbulence and wind.

This one was one of the newer Saratoga II TC versions - fuel injected.

Pretty are all PA-32's since around 1973-1975 have been fuel injected IO-540's.
