AK mid-air

I agree. It would help to avoid the repeat posts on accidents which seem to be the most frequent source of duplicate posts.

It does suck. I've lost several good friends over the last dozen years including two pilot friends in the past two years from plane crashes. One was in Alaska. I imagine flying up there, that one sees more friends killed. Unfortunately it seems to be a bigger part of our lives than life in general.

David, sorry to hear about your friend.

I have lost more friends in airplane accidents in Alaska than car accidents elsewhere. I won't state the number.

"Tomorrow, the sun will rise in the east, and tomorrow it will set in the west. For the sun does not wince at heartache of man, but the universe recognizes a great loss of humanity. Certainly, with the passing of today we have lost a piece of ourselves."

Hang in there, David. Condolences...Hope to see you this weekend,

I'm sure David's friend was my friend. The name has been released now. Harry Wrase was in my new hire class at Yute back in '99. He was a good guy.

Condolences to both of you, and all his friends and family. Very sad.
