This was a fun shoot. Air-to-Water & Air-to-Air! I got to ride in a SeaRey to get photos of the Piper landing on the water. Then we docked them and I climbed into the Piper to go get ground photos of it in front of the Pennybacker Bridge (we locals call it the 360 bridge because it's on Loop 360). It was funny because we drew a crowd and the Karen that worked there ran over to collect the fee for us using the ramp!
If I was going to buy a float plane or amphibious plane, I'm not sure which type I would get. I liked landing on the water. The SeaRey sat very low in the water, lower than I expected, and of course the Piper sat pretty high. Both cool planes and fun to ride in!
