As usual, Jack takes a completely pedestrian plane and makes it look like a superstar.

I hope you charged extra for those golden hour photos

Lol, it’s such an amazing time to be in the air… should give them a discount!

1. Absolutely amazing pictures!

2. Clearly AI, since no real Piper Cherokee has a belly that clean!

3. Your thread title makes me thing there has been a mid-air accident every single time. My brain just parses it that way, and then I'm relieved that it's just a post of wonderful photographs!

1. Thank you!
2. You’re giving me credit for understanding AI and/or being willing to learn new things!
3. My license plate will push you over the edge!

Spectacular! I soloed in a Cherokee 140 - oh, about 59 years ago.

I would love to see my Ercoupe showing off like that.

I agree. What shutter speed did you use for that? My math says 1/60s to 1/80s to get a full disc for the prop, that's an insanely steady shot to accomplish airborne with a 200mm-ish lens.

Same here. My heart skips a bit and then I calm down

I usually start with 1/80 and drop to 1/60 if needed. 70-200mm lens and handheld, so I guess I do have steady hands. It can get challenging on a bumpy day!
