Now first of all, I'm a EE, not a nuclear physicist, so I'm probably not the best choice to teach the subject to AI models. It seems like they're recruiting anybody, without regard for qualifications. Beyond that, it appears that AI is going to be learning about nuclear physics from the best talent $60/hr can buy.

If this is how AI is being developed, we're doomed.

It's going to be lowest bidder mechanical turks reading quora all the way down, so we can build cheaper mechanical turks. It doesn't have to be right or good, merely plausible enough to maximize user engagement and ad impressions. I used to think this was about progamming computers but it turns out it's easier to program humans.
 
It’s a bait-and-switch. You’d be doing fake reviews for Temu. Not necessarily a bad gig if that’s what you want, but…

So I looked at the company website. Appears to be legit.https://outlier.ai/

Not an AI expert by any stretch, but I do some expert networking with humans post retirement. Sounds like a similar thing, but interacting with a computer vs people.

The nuclear engineering aspect is a bit concerning. I wonder if Homer Simpson applied.

As long as regular people aren't walking around quoting Townes, we're good.
 
I worked with many nuclear trained guys in the Navy. $60/hr to them would be a step up.

AI is a joke, just the latest VC gamble to make money. Just like self driving cars, electric airplanes and robot maids (no roomba, you don't count)
 
Not a fan of AI or google , don’t need there help in what I want to view,and they can keep their worthless ads.
