Sky Hi
Hello all, I found a club in LaGrange,TX (3T5) definitely worth sharing.
Fayette Regional Flying Club
Established 2002
Not for Profit
Owns: Cessna 172, Alarus ch2000, and Aeronca Champ
They go for crazy low prices at $65, $55, and $41/hr WET
They don't have many members and love to teach people to fly or get a tailwheel endorsement( which I'm doing )
They have a website just type in google Fayette Regional Flying Club
Heres the clubs CFI 830-857-5584

Great rates on the planes... whats the CFI rate?

$50 per hour. Still not bad considering airplane rates

I had no idea there was a club down there. I drop by and do a T&G there every once in a while when I'm bored and heading West, but never see any traffic that's not a bizjet in the area.

Those are incredible rates, hard to see nowadays.
Hope somebody can take advantage of those. It would take forever to get through PPL training, though. It would be a day-trip for sure for city people from Austin, limiting the student to flying only on weekends. And with the c*ap weather we've been having, I will second my thought: it would take forever to get a PPL (for example).
But again, unbelievably friendly prices. Let's hope they help someone who lives close by.
