AF General cleared of wrongdoing--35 years later

Took long enough. Personally, I think the politicians were too involved in military matters in Viet Nam. The impression I got growing up then was that we'd do something effective, the north would complain and we'd back off. Heck, that was the time to hit them harder. But, that was then.
 
Hopefully his and other's suffering will have helped others somehow from some of the effects of that miserable war.
 
Here's a lot of the background at the time. I got in country May of '72 and departed shortly after the cease fire in early '73; so, this has more significance to me. Of course, I was a ground officer and flew a bit in rotary wing with F Troop/9th Cav. Wasn't doing what these guys were.
