Pre-takeoff checklist
Due to an out of country adventure followed by a new business adventure, I was pretty much out of personal aviation for the last 3 years. In the past, I was a heavy 100dollarhamburger.com user. Then when he tried to make me pay to read my own reviews - maybe a half dozen to a dozen - I decided I would NEVER visit that site again.
Anyway, fast forward to today, and where do I go? I just recently tried adventurepilot.com and it seems pretty good. There doesn't seem to be near the activity on adventurepilot that I remember on $100. I took adventurepilot advice on a trip last night and the reviews were right on target. I plan to use it a bit more in the near future, but thought I'd check in for collective wisdom on other possible sites.
Also, just curious do you personally use adventurepilot? If not, why? Seems a bit odd to me that it isn't more of a hit. It's missing some features (no link to AirNav, non-intuitive interface, etc), but really is pretty solid considering it is free. Also, the X miles around your airport search is REALLY cool.
