How in the **** does a network called "History Channel" have a show about Admiral Byrd flying through a hole at the North Pole and talking to Aliens in the "inner Earth", and that the Antarctic expedition was a cover?:confused::confused::confused: ****ing wow... That's all I can think right now.:nonod::mad2::nonod:

The same way hollywood had President Lincoln fighting vampires?

I don't mind the story, put it on Comedy Central. The dude with the hair makes me laugh so hard I have to hold my dick to keep from ****ing myself. Just don't put it on "History". I could even accept it on Discovery, since you're discovering the depths of human insanity, just not History...

"History Channel" has been a joke - and not a very funny one - for years now.

Sad.

The best part was they introduced 'history' in it using Halley's theories as the basis. Dudes we've learned a lot since the 1600s.

Did you see the "documentary" on mer-men on Discovery a couple of years ago? They got me (and my wife) with that one. We tuned in a few minutes late for they 2 hour show. There was no disclaimer about it being bunk until the credits. I was pretty incredulous, but it was well enough done that I was kinda believing. Man I felt cheated. And it's Discovery, not SciFi.

JOhn

Vikings is pretty good, and Mrs. Steingar likes all the antique shows. Lotta crap on that channel these days, though. Reality shows about rednecks and whatnot.

When History Channel started, we used to call it The Nazi Channel because that was all they showed.

Discovery took the Nazi programs over with their American Heroes Channel.

No better way to build an entertainment market than with public domain content. Now there is a better model, have the participants in the show pay for the production. That's how American Choppers and those shows work. You not only pay for the bike, you pay the production costs of the show about the bike.

There goes the old Admiral Byrd, bound for Brooklyn.

I used to enjoy watching the History channel... when they showed actual historical stuff on it not hair loggers and WTF is with the Vikings show?

I saw that on the program guide and thought "hey, cool a documentary on the vikings." only to see some silly drama show. :(
