Getting the annual done on my Cherokee 140 now and the mechanic already changed the oil. I had already mentioned that I wanted to add CamGuard when he did the oil change, but I guess he didn't take that to heart.

So can I add it myself when I get the plane back from him?

Yeah I'd just fly/run it after, you're sposed to add cam guard between quarts so it mixes, just go run the plane after so it mixes well.

Also as was mentioned, if you're flying the plane multiple times a week it's not really needed.

Its not going to hurt anything but I dont think you need it. You only need it if you dont fly much.

Yea I pretty much knew that I just figured I might as well. It could very well sit for a few weeks in mid summer when it is brutally hot here in AZ. Even then I guess it isn't a big deal.
