Found in a Delta A321 at Victorville KVCV.

"Hey pilots - It's March 23rd and we just arrived from MSP," wrote First Officer Chris Dennis in the note. "Very chilling to see so much of our fleet here in the desert. If you are here to pick it up then the light must be at the end of the tunnel. Amazing how fast it changed. Have a safe flight bringing it out of storage!"

A year ago it was sad... but things are looking up. The 'Bus is coming out of storage, not going in.

The photo floating around the various social media sources was first posted by the FO when they left it.

Nobody has posted a newer one or claimed they were the crew that went and got the aircraft out.

It's gonna turn into one of those nice internet stories that isn't true. And most folks won't know the difference.

It'll get posted and reposted and reposted forever. Yay internet.

P.S. Things are looking up, that's no doubt. The photo will become a fake urban legend though.

The aircraft was the last A321 removed from storage and the names of the crew that picked it up are on Delta private forums. The story is exactly as reported which is very rare.

This would be a less contrived story had the 'hiding' of the note not been announced via social media a year ago.

Good to hear. Ha. They should have taken their own photo. Lol
