A milestone

Congrats, David. And to think that a few years ago we were sharing a beer at the HOPS party surrounded by lowly piston aircraft. :)

If it was a few years ago, who was supplying the minor with alcohol?

Sorry. I was drinking a beer. He was honestly having a Coke or something. Which made me wonder if he will make it back before curfew. Now he's flying Caravans.

Yeah, surveyors are weird! Kinky too.

"Surveyors do it with chains and rods."

:)

When I took surveying classes we used tapes that were divided into 10ths of an I chi and used springs to tension them for accurate measurements.

Hoppy's is probably the cheapest place you can buy me a drink.

Huge congrats DW. I ran across the recording of your gear pump burning up ATC fun a while ago in my iTunes collection the other day on Shuffle and smiled. You handled that one well and you'll be enjoying looking down on all us non-kerosene burners now, too. :)

Caravans are great planes. I got the chance last week to sit right seat in one (a G1000 late model one) and really enjoyed it. Cool plane!

Enjoy it while you can! Facial hair is over rated. I always say "I don't get a five o'clock shadow, I get a five day shadow."

And I don't mind one bit. I shave once a week or so whether I need it or not! :goofy:

The other side benefit is that over about 38 years...nary a complaint from the ladies of inner thigh stubble burn.
