Fortunately, I can live happily without. But, locally, the shelves are becoming quite empty.
I wonder how long before a crisis is declared. I guess that the pharmacy will have to hide the NyQuil.

went to the liquor store yesterday, shelves were pretty bare. luckily they had plenty of jack daniels (with a max 1 per customer limit) and monkey shoulder so I should be good for the weekend.

People made fun of the fact that during lockdowns liquor stores were considered essential businesses without realizing that alcohol withdrawal for alcoholics is very serious and easily deadly. There is a reason why detox centers have to wean you off the stuff. A lot more alcoholics out there than most people would like to think or realize.
