A film for all you guys looking for a brunette

Times they have changed haven't they? Many have thrown those good manners out the door and its a shame.

I am not sure that anything close to that could be produced today ;)

I think the message is still relevant, however, though there might be a few minor changes.

A 1965 General Military Training (GMT).

They didn't teach me this when I was in the U.S. Navy.

The only old Navy training film I got to see when I was in boot camp in 1989 was about damage control I think. There was a woman in that one.

If still have to say that the best Navy training video to date is Man from LOX.

I only watched the first few seconds and none of my dates go like that. Though that girl did spend a long time on her hair. Cute shoes.

The real problem is the average person today misses the sarcasm of this (especially in certain areas of the country). The basic tenets of manners has long gone by the wayside. However, I must say, periodically getting to go to black tie events (mess dress) with military a couple of times a year, I've found that even the enlisted members have excellent table manners compared to some of the civilians who I have been seated with.

Femimism killed the nice guy. The bad boy in that vid would be considered a creepy nice guy today. The nice guy would never get further then internet porn. Ladies got what they wanted and deserve.

I think our culture just changed really quickly and nobody knows quite how to act.

I'm sure they didn't intentionally overlook you or imply you wouldn't find any brunettes who would go out with you! :D
