Sport Pilot
Pre-takeoff checklist
I completed chapter 5 on the Sport Pilot Test Prep (Gleim) and ran into a question that puzzles me. Sport Pilots have to have 3 statue miles as a minimum in all airspace.

QUESTION: During operations outside controlled airspace at altitudes of more than 1,200 AGL but less than 10,000 MSL, the minimum flight visabilty for day VFR is?
ANSWER: 1 statue mile in class G.
This is not correct. Is the Sport Pilot handbook referring to PP? If so, why am I studying material irrelevant to my certification?
