“He a idiot for getting so close to a snake.”"He got bit by a snake."

“He a idiot for getting so close to a snake.”
I spent part of my early Army career in very snake-y places like Panama and Thailand. I know several fellows who were bitten. In every case, it was because they picked up a snake.“He a idiot for getting so close to a snake.”
I cheated off @write-stuff ‘s test.Shouldn't that be "He a idiot for getting so close to an snake"?
Back in the olden days, there was a website utube.com It was for a company (in Ohio IIRC) that did custom tubing cutting / bending. Then YouTube came along and the utube website got clobbered with YouTube traffic. So, rather than take advantage of all the web traffic that was coming to their site by selling advertising and just putting a link to YouTube (or acting as a front end), they sued YouTube and tried to make them change the name. What I don’t understand is people who cannot spell YouTube correctly. For crying out loud, it’s right there on the app! It’s not utube, but an annoying number of people spell it as such.
I got some rat **** straps at a garage sale…Some of you guys must be familiar with my favorite Dave Barry recurring column, Mr. Language Person. I think of that every time I drive by those guys selling boiled peanuts. I have yet to see a sign that simply says “boiled peanuts”. It’s always “ ‘boiled’ peanuts”, or “boiled p-nuts”, or “bold penuts” or “BOilD peants”.
Even my millennial kids don't do that.I also do u for you and r for are along with plenty of others.
r u sure?Even my millennial kids don't do that.

And vice versa.Using "you and I" when it should be "you and me" is worse than fingernails on a chalkboard.

They are indicators of deeper issues that are beyond repair.I can’t take it anymore.
these are the things that keep me up at night, folks.
An opportunity for DOGE to save wasted spaces!!!!!!!!!Some employers have style manuals that define how to do things like this. As mentioned, the USN requires it, so if you work for them, it is NOT wrong.
no doubt. They are indicators of deeper issues that are beyond repair.

Or a period. Think of all the ink we'll save!I believe they have identified $1.7B wasted by using a colon in situations where only a semicolon would have been sufficient.
