This has been tried a few times in the US. Flytenow was shut down by the FAA. MAKG1 beat me to it.
FAA says you can't meet people on the interwebs.
No, they just said that you cannot use it to hold out. If folks one here who chat back and forth on a regular or semi regular basis were to decide to get together to fly from let's say NC to OSH and each person paid their pro rata share, I don't think there would be an issue.
We already have this, it is called " the airlines".
Works pretty well, you give them money and they fly you to where you tell them. I can fly out of my town any day in a Cessna 400 series twin for 48 bucks to Billings, right to the airport to where I can get on and fly anywhere I need to go in a bigger airplane.
How would goober air save any time of hassle over this?
So what? If there was a need(see demand) then they would. I live in the fourth largest state in the union and I can catch an airline flight close to anywhere I need to or want to go that will leave me with no more than a two hour drive at the most after that. If that isn't a sweet system then I don't know what is. There is no way that goober air taxi will save any considerable amount o time or money when I can get anywhere in my state for a couple hundred dollars at most. There is no way that a guy named Fred and his Cessna Skyhawk can beat that.Except for a few thousand airports they don't fly into.
I don't know what the rules are in Germany where you live. The legal answers you have received here so far only apply in the U.S.What are your thoughts on the possibility of sharing your empty seats on your private flights? Wouldn't it be a great opportunity to establish a network of pilots and private people to share flights?

As a tax Payer myself, you are welcome as well! You do know that the service you are referring to is so cheap because it is part of the government subsidized EAS, right? So glad you enjoy flying on the taxes the rest of us paid. You are welcome.
