    Left wing dips after liftoff...

I noticed that even compared to the 172 I used to fly, very little right rudder is needed. Thanks

    Left wing dips after liftoff...

I have been studying film of recent flights and noticed that the C150m that I fly often drops the left wing slightly right after liftoff. Trying to figure out why.

    Renter's Insurance

I rent a C150 about once a week and I am looking into buying renters insurance from like AOPA or Avemco. However, it isn't very clear what I am buying. Of course, I can call them, but was hoping to get up to speed a little before I do that. Does typical renter's insurance pay your FBO's...

    Passed Checkride!!

That is really cool...I too have already noticed a different feeling about myself at work and personal life also...and I think you are probably right about the non-pilot passengers. I will post after the flight and on my blog.

    Height Disadvantage

Thanks Diana! I think you beat Lynn to the announcement of a new pilot!! And yes, the Cherokee made a huge difference actually. I could actually see the horizon on various maneuvers, helped with everything and I wasn't locked in on the instruments anymore...love the Cherokee!

Thanks for the information. So if I am understanding this correctly I can apply mag variation after I do a wind correction angle using true wind direction and true course?

    magnetic heading of winds?

Here is an e6-b wind correction angle question: When I go to a site like aviationweather.gov and they give a wind direction at 3k feet such as 0220...do I need to correct for mag variation of the winds or is this already calculated?

    Cheap GPS

I would like to be able to use my Garmin etrex (that my wife uses for geocaching) in the air. I noticed however, when I go to Airnav.com that the coordinates for airports are listed in 3 different ways and all with way too many numbers after the decimal to fit on my GPS. I also haven't tried...

    Club Airplane?

I am just getting ready to get the specifics, but I think it is like 65 an hour dry and like 150/month dues, which included one hour of time...but yeah, you have a good point on price considering there are 10 guys in the club or so.

    Club Airplane?

Good points. I didn't push for an explanation as to why I shouldn't join one, but I will next time.

    Club Airplane?

I will probably finish up my certificate in June and I am looking to join one of the flying clubs at our airport. The plane is a 1963 172...and looks to be in good shape. The price is $4500 to join and you can quit at anytime and you get $4000 back at that time. Some pilots have told me to avoid...
